The first weekend in May, Joe Stevenson, Eric Eichler, Jim Dawson, and Ben Bixby attended class officers weekend. As I was among the missing, Joe passed on the news that the Class received honorable mention as "Class of the Year" for the second year in a row - Twice a bridesmaid; maybe a bride next year? An executive committee meeting was held on May 13 at the Dartmouth Club in New York. At the time of this writing there was no report available, but most of the discussion concerned the 15th Reunion. You better start planning next year's vacation now! More on the reunion next fall.

Still on the way up at Compton Advertising is Tom Schwarz, who has been elected a senior vice president. He has been with the agency since 1960 and a vice president since 1967. He will be responsible for product design, specification, and application, as well as product research, development, and testing. With his master's degree in mechanical engineering from Thayer School, he is a recognized authority in the field of antifriction bearing technology.

Later this month Doug Trottier will marry Katherine Dittfach in South Amherst, Mass. Doug, a graduate of Andover Newton Theological Seminary, is a United Church of Christ Minister in the Springfield, Mass., area.

Word from Hanover is that on March 10, a girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Art Pierce. Art is superintendent of schools in Hanover. Also in Hanover is Stuart Smith, who has his hands full as he is president of the Dartmouth Printing Company, printers and lithographers. #Jottings: Frank Guider is assistant to the president of Connors, Hoffman Footwear Inc. and living in Littleton, N. H. Art Kofi is an account executive with Bentley, Barnes & Lynn in Chicago.

I am afraid that closes out another year. As we look toward this summer let's keep in mind the 15th Reunion coming up in twelve months. Ben is forming his committee now and welcomes any and all suggestions.

One final note - just a couple of weeks left, June 30, is the deadline for Alumni Fund. There is not plenty of time. Don't delay. Have a wonderful summer.
