Steve Francis has been appointed deputy manager of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., commercial bankers in New York. Steve received an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1965 and was with First National City Bank in New York before joining Brown Brothers Harriman in 1968. He is in international bond financing and portfolio management activities of the firm.

The Air Force has announced that Captain Steve Bloom has been honored by the governments of the United States and Korea. Steve, who went on from the College to get his medical degree from New York Medical College, received the U. S. Meritorious Service Medal and a letter of appreciation from the Surgeon General, Republic of Korea Air Force, for his effective leadership in controlling a cholera epidemic threatening Kunsan Air Base. Steve assisted Korean Air Force officials, the staff of the provincial hospital in Kunsan, and went with USAF teams into villages to administer more than 8,000 shots.
