Dartmouth's freshman hockey team, showing balance in scoring and strength on defense, has roared to a 13-1-1 record entering the final stages of the season. The tie was a 3-3 overtime affair with Harvard, the only team to defeat the Little Indians. Captain Paul Dixon, Bill Dunbar, and Bob Hayes have been major instruments in the skaters' success.

In basketball, the Pea Green had a 10-4 record with two of the losses by a total of three points. Guard Bill Raynor and forwards Jim Piebes, Tom Eggleston, and Greg Hannah have been the keys for the frosh who are one of the Ivy League's best teams this season.

Dartmouth's freshman swimmers took a 7-2 record into their final two meets. Coach Wally Lutkus' team was led by Captain Brad Gilman (son of Dick Gilman '45) who already has set College records in the 1000- and 1650- yard freestyle events.

The Indians have a 5-1 record in freshman track while in frosh squash and wrestling both squads were battling to finish with winning records.

The frosh captains are: Hockey— Paul Dixon, Auroro, Ont.; Basketball— Bill Raynor, Roxbury, Mass.; Swimming —Brad Gilman, Los Angeles, Calif.; Squash—Rick Woolworth, Lancaster, Pa.; and Track—Gibson Lyles, Memphis, Tenn.
