'Tis that time of year again when the dues run slack and the Alumni Fund is just getting up steam. As of this February writing, 200 plus classmates have kicked in their $10. The ALUMNI MAGAZINE goes to 500 '45s and as Harry Hampton puts it "We sure as heck need dues from a lot more guys just to cover the small matter of subscription costs well in excess of $2000. By now you are aware that a second dues billing incorporates an item of historical significance, or at least edification . . . something never provided in the regular undergraduate study regardless of the tuition's stratospheric heights. Surely that single pages of etymological elucidation is worth ten bucks for D'45 dues. In a word, pay dem dues NOW, please."
