Dick Hill's expertise in the field of life insurance sales and service is leading him into a career in public speaking. A consistent member of National Life's President's Club for outstanding client sales and service representatives, and winner of the industry's National Sales Achievement and National Quality Awards, Dick was asked to speak about life insurance and the small businessman at a recent luncheon meeting of the Merrimac Valley Association of Life Underwriters. Dick is a Chartered Life Underwriter and an associate of the A. T. Hatch Agency of Manchester, N. H.

'47 must still be alive. Living proof a photograph of Mike Pender in the Garden City News proclaiming Engineers' Week in the town of Hempstead. This proclamation was made to tie in with National Engineers' Week, February 21 through 27, and was made by Mike in his capacity as chairman of Hempstead Public Works Commission. Further proof that '47 is still living comes from California where Francis E. Brian, who is a Social Studies teacher at Riverband High School, became a candidate for the Modesta Board of Education. By the time you read this column the results will have been in based on an April 20 election and we hope it will be successful for Francis. Aside from that sparse news there is no further proof that '47 is alive.

One way to prove us wrong is to get your checks and pledges in for the annual Alumni Drive being headed this year by our new class agent Alan Epstein. We know that we were impressed with the brief to the point note in green pen to make things easy. As we approach the last Alumni Drive before our 25th year it is important that we come alive with substantial increases in our contributions so that our 25 year gift to the College will be a meaningful one.

Prove us wrong. Show that '47 is alive. Write, wire, phone, etc. P. S. Last Minute News From President Edmund R. Senghas: '47 Still is Alive.
