Congratulations to John P. Wildman who was recently appointed general credit manager of the Anaconda American Brass Company of Waterbury, Conn. John has spent his entire business career with that company working there after graduation from Watertown High School in 1939 until his joining of the Navy in 1942 and his graduation from Dartmouth in 1947. In addition to his career he has been active in civic affairs including plant chairman of the United Council Fund, past president of the Connecticut Association of Credit Men and the director of the Waterbury Chapter of the American Red Cross. He is presently cubmaster of a local pack in Bethlehem, Conn., where he resides with his family.

We hate to keep harping on the same theme but frankly know we will be embarrassed as we read this column and compare the size and news material to the classes on either side of us. '47 is a large and active class and we do not believe from its record of environment and participation that the majority of us do not value our friendships in the class and our association with the College. However, for the lack of communication that had developed in the last months it seems so. The traditional and valued purpose of this column is for all of us to let our friends and classmates know what is going on in our lives so that the friendships which we may not be able to keep active on a daily basis will at least be kept active through knowledge. How about it, fellas?
