Progress report on the new Murdough Center: there is a tremendous hole between Tuck and Thayer and the pile drivers are constantly busy in the first stage of construction, thereby guaranteeing a throbbing head along with the satisfaction of knowing work is underway. Those who reune in June should see some concrete, and footballers in the fall will see the building starting to take shape.

Now to alumni news—which this month seems to be quite sparse. Robert P. Henderson T'54, associate group vice-president at Honeywell Information Systems, Inc., has been elected to the board of directors of the Massachusetts Blue Cross. At Honeywell, Bob is responsible for all U. S. marketing activities and prior to his present position, served as vice-president and general manager of the Electronic Data Processing Division. Another alumnus who has long been active in community affairs in addition to his business responsibilities is John K. Benson T'32, president of the Shawmut Association and vice-chairman of the board of directors of the National Shawmut Bank in Boston. lack's latest involvement is with a major fund-raising program for the Carney Hospital in Boston.

Gregory W. Spurr Jr. T'50 has risen from vice president to senior vice president of the Bank of New York. Greg joined the Bank in 1950 and was elected a vice president in 1962. He concentrates his activities in commercial lending and overall loan and credit administration. William S. Cashel Jr. T'42, president of the Bell Telephone Co. of Pennsylvania and also of the Diamond State Telephone Co., Delaware, was elected to the board of trustees of The Philadelphia. Thomas T. Gately T'56 has been elected president of the Stanley Works of Canada Ltd. in Hamilton Ohio. Prior to moving into the Canadian organization, lorn had been plant manager of the Stanley Tools Division in the States. C. Penn Wettlaufer T'60, president of H. D. Taylor Co., Buffalo, N. Y., participated in a series of seminars sponsored by the National and Southern Industrial Distributors' Association for members of this organization. This traveling road show was attended by top sales and financial management executives from the association. Robin Honiss T'61 has been named vice president of First Connecticut Bancorp. Inc. (FCB). Robin was formerly an assistant vice president of a Hartford bank. Robert S. Bolinger T'62 has been named a vice president at the Irving Trust Company. Bob joined Irving in 1962 and was named an assistant vice president in 1967.

Bruce G. Rossiter T'70 has gone from McKinsey and Co. to the Beverly Hills Bank, a multibank holding company in Southern California. James I. HeggieT'67 has left Heublein and is now with Associates Marketing and Computer Services Company Inc. in South Bend, Indiana. This marketing and financial services company is a subsidiary of Gulf & Western. Finally, Steven Allison T'70 who remained in Hanover with the Dartmouth College Comptrollers' Office for a year has now joined Lybrand Ross Bros. & Montgomery in Boston.
