Dr. Greg Holthusen has begun a private orthopedic surgery practice in Winston-Salem, N.C., where he now lives with his wife and four children. After earning his M.D. from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and completing internship at Mary Hitchcock, Greg took surgical training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit where he did his residency in general and orthopedic surgery.

Currently a senior at the University of Ghent, George Eder recently passed the Belgian State medical examination and after serving a six-month internship will graduate with an M.D. degree. George entered the university in 1968.

Under the direction of Professor BruceMcInnes, the Amherst College Glee Club spent five days in Kabul, Afghanistan, and performed three concerts under the joint sponsorship of the Afghanistan Ministry of Information and Culture and the American Embassy. A press release from the embassy reported, the glee club's performance lived up to successes of previous international tours, attributing its excellence directly to Bruce's capabilities as director, which have already earned him a wide reputation in college glee club circles.

Madison Square Garden Corp. has elevated Stu Freeman to the post of senior vice president for finance and administration, but don't call him for tickets to the circus, please. Prior to joining the company, which owns the Knicks, Rangers, three race tracks, considerable undeveloped and developed real estate plus a few hotels, Stu was with the public accounting firm of Arthur Young & Co. for five years.

Russ Hjerpe is now southwest regional manager for the Fafnir Bearing Co. division of Textron Inc. which means a move to Kansas City, Mo., from Loveland, Ohio where he was manager for the Cincinnati district.

Ohio Wesleyan University has lured Dr.O. P. Jones from Schenectady (N. Y.) County Community College and named him assistant professor of English. He has previously taught at Wisconsin State and the State University of New York at Buffalo where he earned his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. And apparently to appreciate the upstate snowbelt, Opie opted for teaching duty in the Upward Bound program at the University of the Philippines during the summers of 1963-66.

Brian Hepburn has been appointed vice president in charge of manufacturing for the MacBick Division of C. R. Bard, Inc. a leading producer of health care equipment and supplies. Brian was named director of manufacturing for this division a year ago having previously managed the Bard Hospital Division plant in Murray Hill, N. J. He lives in North Andover, Mass., with his wife, Betsy, and their two children.

It is hard to believe that Christmas and the New Year are nearly upon us as it seems that summer was here just a little while ago. However, the coming of 1973 brings forth the aspirations of a new year, and another summer. Best wishes for a happy holiday season.
