Florence P. Hinckley, wife of GeorgeH., died suddenly at the home of their daughter Marsha Senne in Scarborough, Me., on Thursday evening March 30 as she and George were leaving to return to their home in South Portland, Me. She will be missed at 1909 reunions as many of us knew her well from her regular attendance at those functions.

Wilbur and Eunice Bull served the Class well on their health seeking trip to Florida and report personal calls on several of the 1909 family as well as seeing several Dartmouth people of our generation. They found Mrs. Leila Schildmiller and daughter in good health at their home in Coral Gables, 3605 Solona Road, Miami, Fla., 33133. Mrs. Mildred Sporborg, Art's widow, had undergone surgery the day they- called but they had a visit with her daughter and husband. The daughter later reported her mother was making a good recovery at her new apartment #507, 340 Sunset Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. 33301. Asher A. Clement, our third oldest member, and his wife were visited at their home in Zepherhills, Fla., and by now are probably installed in their new apartment in a retirement home. Frank and Constance Austin were visited at their home on the St. John's river in Hibernia, Green Cove Springs, Fla., and found in good health. They are interested in St. Margaret's Episcopal Chapel in Hibernia under the Archdeacon of Gainesville. On the way home they visited Mrs. Ogden (Frances)Brown at her home, Apt. 223,3860 Rodman St. N.W. Washington, D. C.

Kenneth E. (Nut) Root, writes that he is an unhappy shut-in from an incurable leg and foot condition. His home of more than 40 years is at 215 East Chestnut St., Chicago, Ill. 60611.
