After the biggest Homecoming Weekend bonfire ever, the class executive committee met at the Hanover Inn. Reunion chairman George Southwick has obviously done his homework well in planning our 20th Reunion. The dates: June 18, 19 and 20, 1976.
Serving on the Reunion Committee with George are: George Johnston, Dick Mann, Frank Mooney, Dick Perkins, Bob Shirley, and Dave Orr. Since we are sharing our 20th with the Classes of '55 and '56, Hugh Brady '55 and Bob Dumont '56 are working closely with George.
You will shortly be receiving full details on our Reunion from publicity chairman Dick Mann. In the meantime, be sure to reserve June 18-20 and plan to bring the kids - this is most definitely a family reunion. We still have babysitters assigned to our dorms on Friday and Saturday evenings to take care of the youngsters. For the older kids, there will be organized evening activities, including films, rock dances, and more. The Saturday afternoon picnic will also be a family affair. But I won't spoil it - Dick's letter will give you all the details.
While George Southwick was regaling Dave Cook, Bob Andrews and the writer with his wêll-thought-out plans, in walked Bob Behr with his son. They came to Hanover mainly to see the Saturday morning soccer game. Bob, who is sporting a full Viking beard, is back in the U.S. on a one-year leave of absence from his teaching job in Norway. He is presently living and writing in upstate New York. Before moving to Norway, Bob spent several years based in Samoa researching and writing about American authors in Polynesia.
Bob Tobin and Clark Griffith also dropped by to say hello, and Tom Schwarz arrived in time to talk about the 1976 Alumni Fund after putting in a full day making commercials for television in the Big Apple.
We also bumped into a soaked (because of the downpour during the Penn game) Dick Lanahan in front of the Co-op. Dick is still the big shoe and boot man in Princeton, N.J., and has been highly successful in recruiting student-athletes for the College from all over the country. Dick was on his way to Woodstock to look at a "big 71 creampuff Mercedes." That creampuff will probably take up two parking places in front of Ms Princeton shoe emporium!
Bill Kramer, who is with IBM in Orinda, Calif., will be coming to our 20th with wife Lee and their three sons. He is anxious to exchange homes with someone in the East for two or three weeks before or after our Reunion. If any of you or your friends are interested, drop me a line and I'll put you in touch with Bill.

Herb and Linda Ellis just returned from a golf tour of Scotland, followed by a bit of R & R in Spain.
Ed Matthews has been elected corporate treasurer of Nabisco, Inc., in New York. Ed had been assistant treasurer since joining the company in 1973.
That's it for this month. Remember: 20th Reunion: June 18-20, 1975. BE THERE!
