The top liner this month is the passing of Harold L. English, small of stature, who in his Thayer years bore the nickname of "Sample Package," He died on December 9, 1974. No less than four complete and sympathetic accounts have been received. A complete obituary will be found on another page.

We have a new address for Clair (Mrs. Phil.) Thompson, viz. 87 Second Street, Garden City, Long Island, N.Y. 11530. Please correct the address on the '08er list. A cordial letter from the Walkers finds them looking forward to family Xmas parties. Both are in reasonably good health. That's fine. We are indebted to John Thompson, as we have been again and again, for dipping into memories of bygone days and submitting a sample of his rare artistry.

Bernice (Mrs. Stacey Irish) has described Stacey's last days, when she would read the Magazine to him. She included the story of the progress of each of their children. At Stacey's suggestion, she has made a donation in memory of Stacey.

John and Jenny Hinman will be off to their Florida vacation before you read this and will be back about April 1. We hope that you are all keeping for reference, the edition of the '08er recently received, and keep it up-to-date. Just now it is in order to cross off the names of Hall, Irish, and English. Add the name of Mrs. Irish to the Ladies List, same address. We are asked to remind you of Post-50 Reunions, June 9-12, 1975. This will include all classes before and including 1924. Let your secretary know if you have any intentions.
