The Dartmouth Club of Essex & Morris, N.J., will sponsor a College Glee Club concert on March 15 at Livingston High School Auditorium at 8:30 p.m. The concert is the only one which will be held in the New York metropolitan area this spring, and is the Club's most important function for the year. Over 900 people, including alumni and area residents, are expected to attend. Arrangements for the concert are being handled under the able guidance of Club President John D. Wardrop '59 who has been receiving considerable assistance from Tom Kelsey '54 and Scott Olin '50.

The Club's Scholarship Fund has been growing rapidly and a substantial boost is expected from the proceeds of the Glee Club concert. A scholarship committee, headed by Tom Swartz '49, has been formed to consider either increasing the Fund's annual commitment to the College or establishing a second scholarship in the name of our club.

The Club held a very successful smoker on December 18. Dean Carroll W. Brewster outlined ten components of the Dartmouth spirit, and his speech generated a great deal of interest among the over 100 alumni, students, and applicants to the College who attended. Three students, including the present recipient of the Club's scholarship funds, reported to the group about present life at the College. Many popular thirst-quenching raffle prizes were donated again this year by Al Bildner '47.

The Club sponsored its second annual football recruiting session on December 19 in a joint effort with the Bergen and Tri-County Clubs. Head football coach, Jake Crouthamei '60, spoke to the prospects and a presentation of slides and commentary about the College by Alumni Counselor Lloyd T. Krumm Jr. '38, was well received. Our Club is looking forward to future jointly sponsored events with the nearby Bergen and Tri-County Clubs.
