About two months remain before our 10th Reunion celebration in Hanover on June 13-15. It's an event for the whole family, with a little nostalgia, and plenty of sunshine and fresh air. If your wife's never seen rolling Oak Hill, the serene Connecticut River, stately Baker Library, or the simple, dignity of Dartmouth Row, what better chance is there. For her. For you.

Don't know if Ed Grew will make it to Reunion. He's getting married in June to Priscilla Perkins. Both are busy looking at the world around us - Ed, as a member of the University of Wisconsin's Geophysical and Polar Research Center and Priscilla as an assistant research geologist at the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics at UCLA.

Will Morgan, an art teacher at Louisville University, has been appointed chairman of the Kentucky Preservation Review Board ... Graeme and Claudia Bell are both in Washington, working. Graeme is with the law firm of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue. Claudia is a division director of the U.S. Civil Service Commission.

Ed Dailey has a big title, and a big job. He's counsel to the Health Services Rate Setting Commission of Massachusetts. On the side, Ed finds time for the Town of Wrentham, Mass. Planning Board, of which he is presiding officer, and Mary and Meghan (l), to whom he is husband and father.

Gred Eden had served five years as a naval aviator flying attack jets off aircraft carriers. Then he entered the University of Virginia Law School. Now its next phase - real 9 to 5 employment. Greg has signed on at the Omaha law firm of Kutak, Rock, Cohen, Campbell, Garfinkle & Woodward. Donna's completing studies in education at UV.

Need a good man? Bob Hawley's completing his second year at Harvard Business School and with the economy the way it is, Bob's easy ... Need a good man in Rio? Bill Koelsch is there, designing computer programs for the Pontificia Universidade Catolica and teaching programming in Portuguese. Bill's used to this sort of thing. He had the same regime for two years in France.

"We are the teaching staff', writes Chris Langley from Lone Pine, Calif. "We" is Chris and wife Sandy, who together teach all 46 students, including son Matthew, 6, at the Olancha Elementary School, grades 1 to 6, near Mt. Whitney in the foothills of the Sierras. "In short," Chris writes proudly, "we have a really fine life going for us."

Four in the Greater Boston Area. Ken Reiber is an account executive at Provandie Eastwood & Lombardi Ad Agency (bless him) ... Brad Shultz is an investment advisor at Middlesex Financial Management Corp. in Waltham ...

Steve Smith is manager, manufacturing services, electrical instruments, at the General Electric facility in Lynn ... Andy Strauss is living in Cambridge and teaching math at the Winsor School.

You know Wheatena. Who makes it? Wrong. Wrong again. Its made by the Standard Milling Co., Kansas City. Second chance. Who is the general manager of Standard Milling's Charcoal Division? Right! John Uhlmann, the man responsible for Patio Chef Charcoal Briquets..

Tony Yezer is an assistant professor of Economics at George Washington University, just an on-side kick from the White House. Anticipating the inevitable question, Tony has already made a statement - "Although I have been consulting with government agencies in my fields of urban and environmental economics, they never pay attention to economists. So I can't be blamed for our present precarious economic performance."

Don't blame Bob Zartler either, even though he's assistant professor of Management Science at the Univ. of Rhode Island. Bob's trying to help - as Den "Mother" of a Cub Scout group and midget soccer team coach. Ann is a psychologist at the state training school, and son's Jamie, 8, and Teddy, 5, turn off lights when possible.

Certainly Bill Cooper's not responsible, even though he's Documents Librarian at the U. of Penn's Biddle Law Library. ... Dick Dellamora's innocent, and assistant professor of English at Champlain College, Trent University, Peterboro, Ontario.... Maybe Pete Eddy is the cause of our economic condition. Pete does have an alibi, though, since his dual duties at Johnson State College, Vermont (Writing Instructor/Student Affairs Administrator) keep him busy, as does Nathalie, 2, and young Schuyler, born to Pete and Sandy the first week in January.

We've also got our share of financial fellows. In New York Norm Shaffer is vice president, corporate Finance Dept., of Goldman Sachs & Co.... Ned Northrop is administrative officer, Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.... BruceThorsen is second vice president, Venture Capital, at Chase Manhattan Capital Corporation ... Bill Wagner is manager, Commercial Paper Trading, Merrill Lynch Government Securities.... and Mike Diracles is manager of the Corporate Finance Dept. for W.R. Grace & Co.

Outside of New York there are plenty of financial positions, too. John Pearson is director, Financial Studies for the Central Vermont Public Service Corp., Rutland ... In Columbus, Ohio, Dick Brigden is manager, Asset/Liability Management Division, BancOhio Corp ... Bob (Trust) Wilson, in Miami, works on Trust and Estate Administration for the Security Trust Company, a subsidiary of Northern Trust Company ... and Dave Kennedy and his brother are partners in the San Bernardino CPA firm of Kennedy & Kennedy.

Pete Prichard, a feature writer on the Rochester, N.Y., Democrat and Chronicle, has won two awards in the New York State Bar Association's 1974 media awards. A series entitled "Obscenity Goes to Court" won in the category for newspapers between 50,000 and 200,000 circulation, and an article, "Lawyers: The Money Image," published in Upstate magazine, won in the newspaper supplement category. It was the first time one person had won two awards in the state contest. Peter attributes most of his success to Ann, an editor with the Genesee Valley Newspaper chain and interior decorator of their partially-restored Rochester house.

We've got interesting classmates, and they'll be interested in catching up on old times with you, at Reunion. So right after you make a contribution to the Alumni Fund, pull out your green and white Dartmouth Jacket (the one with the leather arms), try it on, then pack it for June 13-15. Reunion in Hanover.
