March: that was the month that wasn't/ didn't. ROTC wasn't in the news; it didn't show much; the mud wasn't more than waist-deep; the robins didn't return; St. Patrick's Day wasn't unobserved; the students didn't march; the faculty wasn't obstreperous; the boilers didn't run out of oil; the College wasn't bankrupt; the Connecticut didn't flood; the Riverside Grill wasn't open; the basketball team didn't lose a game; there wasn't a daffodil in sight for Passover or Easter. It was March.
