Now we are back on schedule after adjustment to the altered timing of the A LUMNI MAGAZINE.

Yes, we had a good turnout at our fall gathering. In addition to the usual attendants, this year Fran Brown and Helen Smith came up from Cape Cod. Bob Scott presided at our annual meeting. Your secretary reluctantly agreed to take over Vic Smith's job as treasurer for the present. Dave Orr, assistant secretary of the College, met with us to talk over plans for our next reunion, June 10-12, 1-977. If you prefer ground floor accommodations, you should make reservations through the College. Mary McCulloch has volunteered to help Helen Brooks on publicity to insure a large attendance from the distaff side. Let's have a mighty 60th. If George (Burglar) Allison can fly from wyoming annually, surely a lot of you can somehow make it to Hanover come June.

Walt Walters came from the Mayo Clinic to attend the Horizons program. We were glad that the schedule permitted him to join us later in the weekend, but we missed Phoebe.

Ted Lonnquest, newly-elected member of the executive committee, writes, "Here in Chevy Chase, Marie and I have enjoyed the summer, notably more comfortable than usual, and her gardening efforts have been rewarded as never before. The biggest recent news with us is that last Wednesday, our children and grandchildren, all nine of them, celebrated our 53rd wedding anniversary with a dinner whose amiability and enthusiasm were a genuine inspiration to us."

The Class is fortunate in having Alden Vaughan, now residing in Hanover, as another recently-added member of the executive committee. Alden will carry the torch for 1917 on the eve of Dartmouth Night, one of those reestablished customs which mean so much to us old-timers. He will also serve as treasurer of our reunion committee.

Regretfully, I report the passing of Robert(Rowdy) Clark of Waltham, Mass., on August 26.
