A quiet, unpopulated college campus is an unnatural sight, but for the Christmas season each year the tranquil stillness is a welcome and appropriate change from the disquietude of its everyday existence . . .

Bill Kennedy graduated from Georgetown Law School in 1975 and spent that summer studying feverishly for the D.C. bar. He managed to get mugged the night before the examination but passed anyway. He took off for Rome to forget the whole thing and took a couple of months to wander up to Sweden for a visit with Mike Ceveney, who's working on his doctorate in limnology at the University of Lund. Bill is currently helping the U.S. Railway Association run the railroads.

Bill Brooks is currently working for the law firm of Shanley & Fisher in Newark, N.J. Having received his Ph.D. in biochemistry from Cal. Tech. last July, Mike Ross is now at Harvard doing research. Mike and his wife Jennifer were married last January. Jennifer is from Kiwi-land - New Zealand.

Ben Upper received an M.B.A. from the University of Washington in 1975, and is presently an office operations supervisor for Allstate Insurance in Seattle. Ben lives in the country on seven acres of old farmland, climbing mountains whenver possible and getting into cross-country, skiing and gardening. Ben writes that he has sampled tai-chi, T.M. and Kabul, Afghanistan, and is presently "living in sin with no plans to make it legal."

John Lippmann and his wife Gay are living Tacoma, Wash., where John has become news director of KSTW-TV in Seattle-Tacoma. "Pilobolus," an early work by members of the dance company of the same name, was recently performed at the American Theater Laboratory in New York by the Concert Dance Company. The dance was choreographed by JonathanWolken in collaboration with Moses Pendleton.

Sheldon Perry and Steve Sulzer '72 are entering their fourth year running Wildcat Academy in Jackson, N.H. Running a school is more fun than going to school, Sheldon's decided. Jay(Clutch) Stanley went to Connecticut for Pea Greener Rick Woolworth's '74 wedding and was clobbered by Allen (Traction) Jackson in a fierce tennis match.

Ron Winde is stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and is enjoying the islands. Ron leaves the Navy next March to return to Rhode Island. He was married last year to the former Betty Caluya from Manila, Philippines. CliffBorofsky is a captain in the Air Force and working as operations officer in the 91st Security Police Squadron. Stationed at Minot A.F.B. in North Dakota, Cliff writes that he is still single and "life is not boring."

Finally, Mark Totman wrote to tell us that returning to Massachusetts from California, he traveled through Oregon (stopping at the Olympic trials in Eugene), Washington (visiting Kern Tyler '73 at White Pass), Jasper, Banff, and down the Continental Divide to Aspen. Mark is working for Waters Associates in Milford, Mass., and living out in the country in a cottage on a pond.

Wishing all of you the happiest of New Years. We'll see you next month.
