Just some quickies this month. Nice letter from Steve Wiener who sent on news from Los Angeles. Steve is associated with the law firm of McKenna and Fitting where he specializes in class action litigation. On the home front Susan "has found herself' and legally changed her name to Susannah, and is coordinator of the surgical suite at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. The children (David, 14 and Alison, 12) are growing so fast, reports Steve, that "they are a blur to the casual observer." Although Steve did recently pass through Pismo Beach, I think his letter was prompted by the column notes a few months back that reported Ted Judson's devotion to Sufi Meher Baba. Steve was delighted to see a "well-rounded Dartmouth man lay down his wah-hoo-wah," and become truly liberated and seek the truth. Although active in the practice of law and the responsibilities of home, Steve sees himself "in the world, but not of it," and is a disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda, founder of self realization fellowship.

He also passed on word of Richard Joseph who has developed into a very talented and accredited artist. He's accomplished in oil, charcoal, and in pencil and pen, and has had a number of one man shows and group shows in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, New York, and many other areas.

The recipient of a National Science Foundation grant is our own Ken Jones, assistant professor of engineering science at the College. Ken will be researching the use of solar cells which directly convert solar energy into electricity. Maybe, he'll solve the annual Hanover winter energy crisis.

Hate to close on a sad note, but recently word was received of Paul Roewade's death. The information is a bit sketchy and should anyone have details concerning Paul, it would be helpful.

Sorry to run short. In another 13 months it's back to Hanover for the 15th. Drop a line and bring us up to date.
