Singapore will be the new home of Fred Bagnall for the next two years. Fred's firm is doing consulting work for oil exploration in Southeast Asia.

Joe Jacquet was reelected to a three-year term as a selectman in Hudson, New Hampshire. Joe, wife Judy, and three sons are doing fine and Joe is anxiously looking forward to the 20-Year Reunion.

Jim Preston is with IBM as a branch manager in Los Angeles and reports that he loves living on the West Coast.

Ron Zwart writes, and I quote:

"Following a three-year Navy tour in Irar, Rena, our two girls and I returned to the U. S. last summer. We had a marvelous month-lon-trip home via Asia and the Pacific. We've sine; completed a sort of cultural decompression and readjusted to U.S. suburbia. I'm now assignee to the International Security Affairs sectiowithin the Office of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon, where I serve as a Mideaspolitico-military policy officer. We feel for. tunate to be in Washington for the Bicentennial Year. It's a good antidote to our family's persistent wanderlust."

The Farmers First Bank of Lititz, Pa., announced that Bob Bolinger was elected presi. " dent and director as of February, 1976. Bob has been in banking for 14 years and is not chief administrative officer of the bank and has supervision of the bank's overall operations. After graduating Dartmouth, Bob served three years in the Navy aboard the USS Canberra. Bob's wife Reba and three sons should be quite proud of their father.

In other banking news, John Trimble has been elected senior vice president of Fidelity Union Trust Company in Newark, N.J. After graduating from Dartmouth, John went to Rutgers Business School and earned a business degree. In addition to John's banking responsibilities, he finds time to be a member of the board of directors of Symphony Hall, Inc. and serves as chairman of the Millburn Short Hills Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Eaton Corporation announces that Dick Stoddart was elected vice president — communications effective May 1, 1976. In his newly created post, Dick will have worldwide responsibility for all communications activities of Eaton — both internal and external — including advertising, internal print, audio and visual communication, product publicity and media relations. Dick has been with Eaton since 1971.

The summer is upon us and my next column will be in the October issue. As I write this, it is too early to tell how our Class did in the Alumni Fund Drive, but under Joel Portugal's outstanding leadership and the past record of this Class, I have no doubt that we will do ourselves proud.
