A note from Web Wilde provided some grist for this mill. Web and his bride attended the Brown game with Dick and Kit Mount. They might have run into a few more classmates if Web were younger, but he states that at his age he can't stand looking into the sun so they sat on the Brown side. Having watched cheerleader emeritus Mount emote at various athletic events over the past twenty years, we wonder how they escaped with their lives as they sat through an exciting "first-ever official Ivy League win" by Brown over the Big Green.

The Mounts, by the way, have just purchased a new home literally .on the banks of the Charles River in Wellesley, Mass. They plan to move in around the first of the year and Wilde tells us that Dick will be interested to learn in this column that the entire Class is invited to the housewarming. Unfortunately the only directions Dick has provided entail the rental of a canoe in Newton and an upstream paddle. That could be a real thirst-building trip in January, but we're betting that is how Dick commutes to the Harvard game from now on.

Web also reports that he saw Swifty Lawrence on local TV channel six recently. Swifty is president of the Falmouth National Bank and he was commenting on the economy of Cape Cod. He and Nancy were also at the Brown game but had the good sense to sit on the right side of the field.

The last tidbit we could glean from Web's note was that Woody Goss, who works for a multi-bank complex and is living in the Worcester area, is commuting daily to Fall River on his present assignment which will probably last until the end of 1976.

An article in the Bridgeport (Conn.) Post reveals that attorney Paul Jacobson has formed a partnership for the general practice of law in Westport. His partner is a Williams graduate but his name is Green so he can't be all bad. Paul is a member of both the Connecticut Bar and the New York County Lawyers Association and has practiced in New York City and Stamford, Conn., prior to his move to Westport. Paul has made his home in Westport since 1962. He has served on several advisory committees for the town and is a director and general counsel for several corporations in the area.

Once again our past head agent Pete Thompson has his handsome visage gracing the pages of the local press. Peter was recently elected to the post of treasurer of the Boston Museum of Science board of trustees. He was elected to the museum's corporation in 1972 and to the board the following year.

Jim Perkins, a partner in the Chicago advertising firm of Perkins, Bernstein, has joined with Dr. Taylor W. Washburn '64 to form Washburn Associates, Inc. The company will produce nonfiction books of general interest, both adult and juvenile, for distribution and sale by other publishers. While specializing in series and sets for mail order, direct sales, and mass market distribution, the company will also publish single titles and sets for trade and premium use. Jim's literary experience includes editorial positions with Doubleday, Holt, Rhinehart and Winston, and The Saturday Evening Post - and an executive position with the Times Mirror Company.
