Hoping that Santa Claus would surprise me with an early delivery of Christmas cheer in the form of letters and postcards (who am I kidding?) from classmates, I have delayed writing the December class notes for some time. Alas, the old man hasn’t arrived yet and before my editor, Dan Nelson, blows his stack, I shall endeavor to compose this column with the scant tidbits I’ve managed to pick up here and there. To say that people are not writing would be, at this point in time, a gross understatement.

In Ocotber I reported the engagement of Roger Clarkson to Karen Sue Roeder. By the time they received the October issue, Roger and Karen had been married in the Fort Myer Chapel at Arlington National Cemetery. JeffLittle was an usher at the ceremony. Following a trip to Bermuda, the Clarkson's are now residing on Thetford Hill where Roger is in the real estate business.

Jim Conterato and Stephanie Lynn Denser were married on August 6 at the home of the bride’s parents in Big Horn, Wyoming. Further details would be appreciated.

Steve McNutt and Robin Slye (Colby-Sawyer and Skidmore) were married on September 10 in Wayland, Mass. Steve is currently working on a master’s degree in animal nutrition at the University of Florida in Gainesville,

Clark Cunningham married Helen Ann Varteressian on August 20 in Detroit. At last report they were living in Chicago.

So much for the wedding news this month. If there are any single guys left in the Class, they are hereby requested to write to the class secretary with suggestions on how to get a date. Any single girls are simply requested to write. Cockroaches need not bother.

Shorts: Tony Garufi has left Price- Waterhouse and is now a financial analyst with the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. John Mellors is winding down the grind at Dartmouth Med. Charlie Solberg is working out of Chicago as a salesman. His territory is as wide as the entire country and because of the nature of his sales calls, he must drive to almost all of them. Charlie managed a business trip to Hanover recently and it just happened to coincide with the Cornell game. Willard Hopkins is at Colum- bia Law School in his third year after working last summer for the law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen, and Hamilton.

That’s it for this month. Before the reindeer drop on your roof (no pun intended) please drop me a note. Have a merry Christmas.
