Now that the spring of '78 is quickly approaching, maybe people's writing utensils will thaw out and they will let us know what's happening. Maybe?

Larry Nichols, who presently attends Columbia School of Art and Design, was last seen, although blurred, treading back towards N.Y.C. after a Boston-area wedding visit. Need more details be added? Rumor has it that he was politely asked when he planned on leaving the reception of Jeff McKee and Cathy Kelley (both '77s). His choices of conversation were not becoming of a Big Greener. Nevertheless, nothing will match his performance with his tuba, on that rainy day at Alumni Stadium way back when. Keep it up, Lawrence.

Also in the Boston and New England area for the same celebration was Hank "Hamron"Ostwald. Hank got a good deal from an airline company and spent about a month traveling all over. Folks, after much thought and exercise, Hank has decided to take the big disco step and is now a go-go dancer in Des Moines. Good luck, Henry.

A unique piece of Xeroxed news directly from the University of California at Berkeley has Paul Cane elected (1978-79) the editor-in-chief of the Legal Journals U.C. Berkeley. Congrats from all, Paul.

David Slade, attending both Fletcher School of Diplomacy (or is it International Relations?) and Harvard Law School, reports that both are a pushover. Thus, he spends his time watching "Eight is Enough" and reading the NationalInquirer. Dave is living in Cambridge, Mass., with two hairdressers. Dave Hammond is also attending Harvard Law and sees Prof. Slade frequently.

At last rumor, after traveling through Chicago to San Francisco to San Diego and on, Pam Gile took a job in Sun Valley, Idaho. Apparently, Pam is helping to keep a ski dorm in shape — cooking, cleaning.... If this is not accurate, Pam, let us know.

Peter Jeton, after finishing up at Boston University Graduate School of African Studies, is working for the First National Bank of Boston, in their international division. Peter has also been known to discuss domestic matters with Nancy Kepes. Nancy is still toiling for the town of Salem, Mass., doing much work for the planning board.

After spending a year, almost two, in San Francisco, Louis "Josh" has switched residence and is now working in Tony Pizza's San Diego branch. "Business is good, but we have too many townies hanging around." I guess Louis doubles as a bouncer. Good luck, Josh.

Tom Parnon, recently seen in a Harvard Square dive, is attending Harvard Business School, trying to shake his "dirtball" image.

John Glover, attending Tuck, plans to marry Mary Lee Spencer '79 sometime in the future.

Not much has been heard from Jack Brennan nor Kathy Joyce. It seems both of them enjoy commuting between Boston and N.Y.C. quite regularly. Jack in N.Y., and Cathy in Boston, work hard during the week. See what happens when there's no relaying? The dirt starts to fly.

Marty Doyle (Boston College Law) recently became interested in the medical profession. No, folks, Martin is not going to med school, nor has he been doing volunteer work, although he has been hanging around hospital grounds. Let's just say that Marty's mind is not all on moot court and the hearsay rule. The big boy from the Sunshine State has been doing some relaying of his own. He says Jim "Zelmo" Beattie, with the N.Y. Yankee Organization, is doing well and has found some buddies to compare with former mates. After a day of fishing and boating, it seems a few of Zelmo's current mates had to be assisted back ,to dry land. Weak items. Switching coasts, but not climate, Dick Carroll relays, "things in Los Angeles and South California are wet but delightful." Dick is working, managing a restaurant-bar somewhere on the beach near L.A. Dick, incidently, is also living with two hairdressers.

Maybe more relaying will arrive, now that spring fever is upon us. Bon soir.
