At our recent reunion, a new slate of officers and an executive committee were voted into office for a five-year term. Steve Mullins will be president, Brad Borden treasurer, Dave Martin newsletter editor, Peter Kenyon head agent, Joe Mesics in charge of mini-reunions, and DickDavidoff will chair the bequest committee. The executive committee is made up of the following classmates: David Mandelbaum, Bob Berry, Ron Gold, Herb Gildan, Bob Clements, John Christy, John Blum, Jay Chandler, Dick Grassey, Dick Steinberg, George McLaughlin, Jerry Goldstein, George Voss, Herb Syle, and yours truly as secretary.
For those of you on the football circuit this fall, Joe and Mary Mesics will be hosting a cocktail party after the Yale game (October 13) at their New Canaan home. For directions, call Joe at 212-725-3568. George and BettyMcLaughlin will be putting on another of their lovely parties after the Harvard game (October 20), and for those of you returning to Hanover for the Homecoming game with Cornell (October 27) our class will be hosting a B.Y.O.B. party, with a free keg of beer and munchies, at the Faculty Lounge in Hopkins Center right after the game.
For those classmates who really like to plan ahead, Dartmouth will be playing William and Mary, on October 11, 1980, at Williamsburg. Hotel rooms will be at a premium in Williamsburg, so if you would like to go, I suggest you make reservations soon. We'll surely have a '54 get-together in the area in conjunction with this game.

Seen in the media: Mort Glaper, marketing professor at Babson College, commented on his forthcoming multiple situation analysis study in the June issue of Sales and Marketing Management magazine. Ev Rattray's wife Helen wrote a most moving article about her observations of our 25th reunion in June. The story appeared in the June 21 edition of the East Hampton Star, a Long Island newspaper. A nifty story about David Mandelbaum's lovely wife Rosemary and the important work of her company (Westchester Whirl-Around Inc. is involved in getting newcomers properly adjusted to a neighborhood that is best suited for them) appeared in the August 6 issue of the Gannett newspaper group. Did you see Gary Rosenthal's picture in the May 27 issue of Newsweek? He was sporting a very macho Stetson cowboy hat. The article pointed out that Americans are back into hats again. (That's good news to Gary, with his new line of western styles leading the way).
Seen in the theater: Enjoyed seeing John Cunningham co-star with Tammy Grimes in the long-running comedy Father's Day here in New York.
Seen at airports: Ron Jabara was flying off to China earlier this month for an embroidery- buying trip. Ralph Destino, president of Cartier Inc., was seen aboard the Concorde taking his son on a buying trip to Paris over Labor Day weekend. Dick Wheelock was spotted in early August at the Ambassador Club at the San Francisco airport with his wife and two daughters, concluding a brief vacation. He had been visiting with Sally and Mike Biggs the evening before. Dick is with National Distillers and lives in Tyler, Tex.
