Nine widows responded, most of them with help to pay for their ALUMNI MAGAZINE subscriptions.
Some kind person had supplied me with a lengthy review of the business life of our fine old classmate Nelson L. Doe. The information seemed so exact that I proceeded to use it in his obituary, which was in the September issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE.
But it was incorrect. He did not start working for General Electric. He enrolled with Turner Construction Company on April 27, 1913, and continued with them until June 1, 1960, retiring as vice president of the company.

Old buddy Quechee French says he is in good shape except for his eyesight. His wife drives for him.
