Greetings, friends! Can you believe We've come again to Christmas Eve? With last year's wishes still in mind We hope the months to you were kind. Let's not dwell on oil and interest, T.M.I, or weather winterest. We come in rhyme with joyous toast And pray that you will be engrossed. As Yuletide greetings spread before us, Let's raise our glass and join the chorus: Joyeaux Noel. May we begin With Gerry Avanozian. Give a rouse to Richard Werner, Bill Vitalis, Danny Turner. Uncork a fine old cognac For both the Halls - Dick and Jack. Or how about some J&B To warm the heart of Perry Free. A Cabernet Sauvignon For Pete Matton and Ted McKown, Donald Bremner, Dickinson Buell, Robert Lambert, Kenny Sewall. A Christmas feast is our repast; Come gather round with Philo Fast. We'll start with saucey quiche Lorraine; Please pass a plate to Walt Vom Lehn. A mousse de sole that would inspire Dick Giesser and Ross Mclntyre. Bowls of shrimp and crab au gratin For Bruce Gilmore and Sherm Tratten, Both the Fowlers - Ed and Tom, Aaron Epstein, Bob Derzon. Serving the main course is Ward Hamm: With a ruffled crown roast of lamb, A little mint, some sauce au jus For Tony Chambers and Marc Loost. Wild rice and buttered peas - Paul Arenberg has eyes for these. Carl Walker, Bobby Core, All join Kisuk Cheung for more. Then Billy Fry and Poncho Conn Would enjoy some Saint Emilion. Petite fromage, a slice of pear For Tommy Dixon, Harlan Fair, Larry Kelly, Kelly McBride, Jack Van Wagoner, William Hyde. For our dessert, a mincemeat pie With brandy sauce for Charlie Aye. Well that's enough of food and drink For even Billy Beck, I think - And Richard Lena, Eddie Grant, Thayendanegea Joseph Brant. A lot of presents we would promise To John Van Huyck and Timmy Thomas, Both Dick Goodmans - H. and C., Bob Callender, Frankie Lee, The Harrisons - Larry and Pud, Friedmann, Friedman - Karl and Bud. How about a Steuben bowl For Dick Lombard and Warren Cole? Some tickets for a Yucutan Holiday for John Corcoran. I think a rugged manly fur Would look quite good on Scrib Fauver. A work of art could we unveil For Victor Cannon and Russ Smale? A wafer thin, golden quartz watch For Al Davis, Peter Schwartzkopf, Jimmy Coleman, Colman Kraft, Alan Sessler, Jim Porath. Make Bill Hutchens be a winner With an Orvis golden spinner. Let Tom Ritner run astute With a gortex warm-up suit. From L. L. Bean, some touring skis For Jim Courtney and George Davies. Send Butch Edgar snow pell-mell For sliding down the Face of Bell. We must stop our long entreaties; But don't forget Byron Menides, Charlie Buchanan, Hugh D. Greer, And all the others through the year.

Thus our Season Greeting ends - Happy Holidays, dear friends.

Good luck, strong heart, and peace of mind; Godspeed. And may the days be kind. Have a year you can't compare to. "Vox Clamantis in Deserto."
