Irv andConnie Wolff put the cold and snow of Princeton, N.J., behind them and were at the Paradise Inn in Phoenix, Ariz.

And these folks stayed home: Hollis Nickerson confirmed that he and Carol have given up Florida for Wellfleet, Cape Cod, and wrote that it was "freezing," and Ev Parker sent the news that he and Denver had the coldest two months since 1864.
