Bob Hooker must hold some kind of 1930 record for getting about. Prior to 1953 he held a number of jobs in New England, served in World War II with the Mountain Infantry, and for three years managed the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge. Then to Lausanne where he received a certificate from the famous École Hôteliere. Since that time he has held a dozen hotel and club management positions, mostly in the Northeast. Now he may be addressed at 4834 N. 72nd Way, Scottsdale, and it seems fitting that Bob should advise whether this is a business or retirement address and give us some assurance that he will be in Hanover for our 50th. Herbert Uhl (Liechtenstein) reports, "There is not much news in this quiet tiny country which, considering the flood of mostly bad news, is quite comforting." Joe Guilfoy has moved from Detroit to Sun City, Ariz., at 10422 Willowcreek Circle. Big circle.

Date line, Casa Keene-Ta, Guanajuato, GTO Mexico: "Just a tid-bit for your notes in case you need fillers. Pat & Bob Kohn made it to our door a few weeks ago, and gave us a very nice opportunity to become reacquainted. There is always a warm fellowship when two '30ers get to meet - and it is especially so when the time and distance is so great. They both looked great and certainly seem to be enjoying life. They made a loop around Mexico and drove it all with no brush with trouble. Hope this finds you and Eleanor tops and enjoying the arrival of spring - after what was billed here as one awful winter. Our life and health here remains good, and we are busy building another smaller place on the same land. Think I will name it 'La Ultima,' which ought to be true, Bob and Louise Keene."

Dick Bowlen has run across Sam Hutchins (Brattleboro) a couple of times recently, once at Vermont Academy, where Sam is a trustee, and also in connection with the Senior Skiers Club at Bromley Mountain. A recent AARP news bulletin confirms that Sam chairs this newly- formed group and that he said, "The club has a sort of dual function - recognizing older skiers and also encouraging folks 65 and older to go skiing." Herm Sander was chosen as the most influential resident of Candia, N.H. His service to the community was summarized by one of the selection committee: "Dr. Sander does it all as far as I'm concerned, and he doesn't do it for recognition."
