The next time you visit the Turks or Caicos Islands (British West Indies Department) you really should cruise to the nearby island of Provodenciales. "Where is this garden spot?" you ask, as well you might. It's about 90 miles north of Haiti - or you might steer an airplane about 120 degrees some 585 miles from Miami. Approximately eight years ago, we bought some land on Provo, and in March we visited some friends and the land, just to check on the progress of the latter. While browsing about, who did we browse into but Walt Eisenman, M.D. Seems that Walt had had enough as head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the Mesaba Clinic in Hibbing, Minn., so he and Jane went island hopping and shopping, and set up housekeeping on Provo. A lovely house, directly on the beach, where they spend approximately nine months of the year, with the three summer months in Hibbing. Walt extends an invitation to wandering '42s to visit them in either Hibbing or Provo, but be sure you have the right season.

A quick change in locale, as I recently bumped into George and Weeze Clark in the Hanover Inn. They were in town to participate in Dartmouth Horizons, and they report that all is well in Carlisle, Mass.

Ira Leonard Berman '42, president of the Berman Leather Co. in Boston, was presented with an Alumni Award in May for his "long and devoted service" to his class and to the College. Berman's award cited his contributions as president of the Boston Alumni Association, his efforts as a class agent, enrollment worker, and treasurer, and his service on the Alumni Council, as well as civic activities.
