Just had a phone call from Phil Meyer who is still living down the peninsula where he is teaching chemistry and is a counselor at Skyline College. It seems however, that athletics is still the main interest in his life. In tennis he is ranked number three in Northern California for singles and doubles, and recently did very well in a tennis tournament in Pebble Beach. He further advises that he has taken up running and recently turned in a three-hour fifteen-minute marathon. Tennis is taking him and his family east this summer where he will be a director of the Hotchkiss School Tennis Camp in Lakeville, Conn. His sons, Craig, 12, and Jeffrey, nine, will be participating in the camp. They also will have time to visit his wife Jan's parents in Cheshire, Conn. Phil is expecting to get together with his old tennis buddies, Gordy Aydelott and Jim Biggs. He mentioned that he hopes all of you who are in the area will feel free to give him a call, get together, or even consider sending your children to his tennis camp.
Also of interest from the West Coast, we had our annual Dartmouth dinner last Friday, March 23. Most noteworthy news of the 1962's in attendance was that Dave Muhlitner was recently married. Due to the crowd, I did not have a chance to get all the details. Another name out of the past is Manning Smith III, whom I had not seen since graduation. He also made a trip to the altar when he married Virginia Rowan. Manning is in real estate down on the peninsula in the Palo Alto area, while Ginny works for the advertising firm of Foote, Cone & Belding in San Francisco. In the spirit of compromise, they have just bought a home in Millbrae, which is located half-way between their two offices.
From another source, our friend KentGraham, we have heard that Bob Needham has been married. How about some information on what's been happening. Bob? Kent has also asked if anyone has heard about Bob Bannerman, one of his roommates.
