Asher Averal Clement, who had recently moved to 426 Greenbriar Townhouse Way, Las Vegas, Nev. 89121, died on November 30, 1979, three days after his 95th birthday. His widow Sadie has a retirement home at 4255 Spencer, Las Vegas, Nev. 89109 (Camlu Retirement Home #114). Asher had been the oldest 1909 classmate for several years. An obituary will appear in a later Magazine.

A. Gordon Weinz attended the January 31 meeting of the Boston Dartmouth Club at the Union Oyster House. He was greeted at the door with the request that he come up to the fourth floor to meet the secretary. He was informed that he was to sit at the head table with Mrs. John Kemeny and two others. Mrs. Kemeny gave a resume of her book on Dartmouth.Gordon was asked to describe some of the differences between his undergraduate days and the present.

Reginald H. Colley is co-author of three papers being presented this month at the American Wood Preservers Association meeting in Memphis, Tenn. Reg and Molly are presumed to be in attendance.

Edward Chandler Ford's estate paid the College $25,000 on September 17, 1979, which had been subject to a life interest of the widow Josephine Logan, to establish a 1909 Alumni Endowment Fund.
