Hello again! I hope you all have been able to dig out of the winter snow and are beginning to buy your assorted lotions and creams in anticipation of fun in the sun. It is very important that you plan ahead concerning this subject, otherwise you will look like Jeff Immelt '78 after his spring of 1977 return from Florida. I had never thought I would see a red whale, but, then again, you'll see just about anything in Florida over spring break.

The news this month includes word that Laurie Laidlaw and Scott Ralston have announced their engagement but are not positive about the wedding date. My pal Curt Rooks was at our ECAC victory over R.P.1., taking a short vacation from the rigors of college coaching. I want to congratulate Curt on being named assistant football coach at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. Good luck, Curt. Nigel Key was spotted recently playing paddle tennis in his hometown of Scarsdale, N.Y. Nigel looks super and is commuting to the city, where he works selling municipal bonds.

Judy Ornstein sent us some information recently, saying that she has been working since July 1 as an organizer for the National Abortion Rights Action League. Judy has been traveling extensively, raising support for the upcoming elections. Thanks for the note, Judy, and good luck. Channing Lushbough is living next door to Kathy Harper and John Carson in N.Y.C. and working at the investment advisory firm of Tweedy Brown Inc. Kathy is working for HUD, but no one seems to know what John is doing. What are you doing, anyway, John? Patty Pannell is a paralegal for Mobil Oil and is also in the Big Apple. Lizanne Galbreath is working for Chem Bank in the city and living: with Gail Frawley. F.X. Matt and Bert Edwards are fellow employees of Lizanne's at Chemical. Jeff Miotke has been working as a teacher for the Peace Corps in Lobamba, Swaziland. In case you'd like to drop him a line, his address is P.O. Box 36, Lobamba, Swaziland, South Africa. It sounds like a place "Natti" would go to vacation. We must work on our tan, Jeff. Judy Copeland is attending Harvard Divinity School and working quite hard. Good luck, Judy. So as not to be accused of plagiarism, I must give the credit for most of my information this month to Carol Gieg. Thank you so much, Carol, and I hope you are feeling well.

I also have some news of my old next-door neighbor of freshman year, Bob Curry, "ya damn guy." Bobby is at the University of Michigan working toward a Ph.D. in ecology and evolutionary biology. He plans to marry Susan Harrison of Springfield, Vt., this August. I'd like to be the first to congratulate you, Bob, and wish you good luck.

Lastly, I must end this article on a sour note. The rumors are rampant that the fools from Chicago will be invading our privacy come Green Key Weekend. For our own sake, let's pray that "Swanny," T. Bird, Utz, Lyman, Dirty Ed, and the rest of the boys have mercy on Hanover when the time comes. So, on that pleasant thought, I will say so long until we meet again. Pete.
