The first member of the class to reach the golden age of 90 was Roy C. Barnhardt. March 2 was the big day. Roy retired in 1951 from a long life in teaching, including service as principal in two high schools and as a teacher of world history.

There will have been a big gathering of the Dan Dinsmoor family in June when the third generation Rob received his diploma.

And the third generation of the Jack and Kay English family will arrive in Hanover this fall when Linda Beane matriculates as a Dart- mouth freshman.

As a member of the class of 1916, your name is one of the 39,000 names in the Alumni Records Office in Hanover. The keeper of these records is an accomplished lady by the name of Nancy Elliott. In her care are all these names, the processing of all the class newsletters, and the mailing of them. She has the instincts of a bloodhound in running down all changes of ad- dress so much so that there are now only 1,327 who are no longer interested and 316 that are lost. Get out your March ALUMNI MAGAZINE and read, beginning on page 13, "Tracker of the Right Stuff' about this lady who holds almost "in the hollow of her hands" the alumni of Dartmouth College.
