Hot Seats

Dartmouth's most exalted throne, probably made for Eleazar himself, is sat upon but once a year at commencement, by the current Wheelock successor. Almost as hard to usurp as the president's chair are a pair of front row, stage right seats in Center Theater and seats 17 and 18, row H, section 7 in Thompson Arena. The former are held by Edwin, and Edwina Willard for opening-night performances, the latter by Phil Mclnnis '36, "Mr. Hockey."
