Now he has been elected a Sylvanus Thayer Fellow, one of 23 so honored to date by the Thayer School of Engineering. This recognition of commitment to engineering education at Dartmouth was established in 1978 by the Thayer School board of overseers. Dutch and Florence live at 1136 Waverly Road in Gladwyne, Pa. 19035, and have been unable to do any traveling in recent years because of her health.
Ted Geisel's 77th birthday March 2 was proclaimed Dr. Seuss Day by the governors of 12 states. Orr of Indiana even marked the occasion by lunching on green eggs and ham with local schoolchildren. "If I had it to do over again I'd probably make the same mistakes."
