Best wishes to all for a Very Happy Holiday

Season. I hope that the New Year will be a good one for all of us. Since this is also the season of New Year's resolutions, how about resolving to write your class secretary, since this is the end of the news I have in hand. I know that we all eagerly look forward to the column, but without your help not much news can be circulated.

I have word of the birth of Stephanie Alisori Scott on April 1, 1983, to Geoffrey andCaroline Scott. Stephanie was born at Basingstoke, Hampshire, England, and weighed in at six pounds, two ounces. Geoff and Caroline are now back from a stint in England and are living in Darien, Conn. Geoff commutes into New York where he is a vice president of Chase Manhattan Bank.

Lycoming College, located in Williamsport, Pa., has announced the appointment of our classmate, Tracy Lewis, as a new assistant professor of Spanish. Tracy holds his M.A. and Ph.D. from Brown and majored in Spanish while at Dartmouth. He has previously taught at the Darrow School in New Lebanon, N.Y., and most recently at the Brooks School in North Andover, Mass,

Earl Zubkoff is living in Silver Spring, Md., and has succeeded in establishing himself as a professional photographer. Earl is busy these days with a variety of assignments for corporate and other entities, producing photos for annual reports, professional magazines, and journals. Earl has also been getting more involved in the production of slide shows and other special format presentations. He recently produced a poster for the National Symphony Run which is quite a popular item in Washington, D.C., these days.

I also have some news of other people who were at the wedding of Dennis and Cate Jolicoeur. Dennis's brother, Marc Jolicoeur, and Marc's wife Jackie, live in Bedford, N.H., with their delightful children, Peter and Jennifer, who are now ten and eight respectively. Marc is the president of CPE Inc., a bottling cooperative in Massachusetts, which produces about 50 percent of the independent Pepsi Cola bottling volume in New England. He is also a director of the Merchants National Bank and First Bank Mortgage in Manchester, N.H., in addition to heading the family operations.

Among the guests at the wedding was BobPayne, who is living in Chicago and working with Shearson American Express in the corporate finance area. Chris Marshall lives in Manchester, N.H., and practices law with the firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson and Middleton. He and Janina Stodolsky were married in January 1979 and are now the proud parents of one Stanislaw Shumay Marshall, born in December 1982 and known as young "Shum." Janina is also an attorney specializing in divorce work. Chris mentioned that he occasionally speaks with Mark Weire. Mark and his wife Andreen reportedly have just had a third child and are living in Shawnee, Okla., where Mark is doing engineering work for the Public Health Service.
