Discerning readers of the October issue of the Magazine may have noticed that several paragraphs were out of place in Laurie Kretchmar's Undergraduate Chair piece, "The Dartmouth Intern," and Professor Horace Porter's article on contemporary American fiction, "Doubt and Passion." We regret the error. Corrected copies of both essays may be obtained by writing the Magazine.
