I always get a newsy letter from Pete Grey after I send him a birthday card. Would that others would do the same! In his letter Pete says he and Marylou look forward to celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary two years hence. They are both in reasonably good health, and I am sure they will make it.

Ruth McCarter and Edna Murray are both in the same apartment house in Woburn, Mass. The address is Country Club Heights.

A report from Hanover indicates the class was credited with $6,755 in the last Alumni Fund campaign as interest on legacies given the College with the stipulation that the interest would be credited to the class. This is a very nice thing to do, and it is hoped others will join this group, which numbers 11 at present. John McCrillis will be glad to tell you how to go about it.

The last time I talked to him, Chet DeMond planned to go back to New York City on the first of November. Max Norton reports he is about the same.

Jim Davis is well, as is Mary. I told her this was our tenth move. She said that they had moved 19 times. This ought to be a record of some sort or another. Their daughter still teaches in New York University, and their son is in Carlisle.
