There is little news this past summer, mostly not good. We have lost Wes LaCour in Stewart, Fla., Stu Narramore in California, Walt Greenspan in New Jersey, and Brud Johnson in Michigan.

We were happy to hear that Jane Brown finally got a new, rebuilt knee after months in hospitals in Miami, Boston, and Gloucester.

We must apologize for this short column. .Katie and your secretary spent June touring England, thus missing out on the Boston telethon where we usually get most of our news. We will try to make up for it next month and will tell you then about our trip to Dartmouth, England.
