Among the news this month is word that Dave Sullivan is currently serving a two-year stint as assistant chief of medicine for the Kaiser Hospital in Bellflower, Calif. In addition to his supervisory responsibilities and his own busy practice, he is also the head of an experimental out-patient module shared by internists, family doctors, and nurse practitioners. In July of last year, he and Keppie welcomed their daughter Kathryn into their brood. Young Katie joined two brothers: Stephen, seven, and Jeffrey, five.

Living and working near Portland, Maine, Jim Wallace is project manager in the hazardous waste group for E.C. Jordan Company. He attended Ed Freeman's wedding in Denver, Colo., last October. Jim writes: "Our daughters Jennifer, age ten, Robin, seven, and Sarah, two, are all fine. Anyone making the trek to L.L. Bean's is welcome to stop off in Cumberland."

A second daughter, Margaret Amelia, was born on February 25, 1984, to DarahKehnemuyi and Kunni Biener. Sister Kaetlin, age two and a half, was in attendance, and Dad cut the umbilical cord. (Maggie was born in a birthing center, not a hospital.) Darah is working for attorney Aaron Levine in Washington, D.C., doing medical litigation.

Ralph Tennant has been promoted to marketing manager, light commercial unitary division, of The Trane Company, the air-conditioning products operation of American Standard, Inc. He had been manager, strategic planning, for Trane's dealer products group in Tyler, Tex., since 1983. The light commercial unitary division of the company, with headquarters in Clarksville, Tenn., where Ralph is now based, is responsible for the design, manufacture, and marketing of Trane's commercial air-conditioning products for industrial buildings. Prior to the operation's being acquired by Trane, Ralph worked as manager, operations analysis and planning, and as manager, operational planning, for General Electric's central air-conditioning department in Tyler. Trane acquired the operation from GE in 1982 and restructured it as the Trane Dealer Products Group.
