May what a beautiful time of the year. However, while many of us are enjoying the greening of lawns that need mowing or the anticipation of winning the weekend in Nassau, head agent Don Berlin and his network of regional and assistant class agents are toiling to encourage every last percent of partic- ipation in, and dollar of donation to, the 1985 Alumni Fund. Don's goal for the class is $162,000 and 565 donors. How about helping '54 to win a Green Derby in Don's first year as head agent. Won't you please send in your gift today.

In a recent address at Alpha Delta fraternity on campus, Dr. John Steel discussed the fraternity system and his view of it as a Trustee. John said, "I know of no movement to do away with the fraternity system; I am a supporter of trying to improve the system." John indicated that the Trustees are interested in working within the existing structure to better the fraternity system and not to remove it. John said, "Despite what seem to be rather grim circumstances... some mighty successful people have come through the system." He must have been referring to his classmates, of course!
It sure would be nice to hear from more of you! How about a short note about where you are, what you are doing, or what you wish you were doing! Let's hear from you!
