Senior Sue Johnson of Hanover capped another outstanding golf season by earning All-America honorable mention recognition. Johnson also won the New England Intercollegiate Championship for the third time in four years and was selected as Dartmouth's most valuable player for the fourth straight season. She is the daughter of William Johnson '53.
Senior Lynda McLaughry of Hanover received the Samuel Z. Wormser '27 Trophy for being the team's most improved player. A former soccer player, McLaughry didn't start playing golf until last June and was the team's numberfive player this season. She is the daughter of Robert McLaughry '44.
The women's golf squad was 4—2 overall and 1-1 in the Ivy League. Leading the men's team was junior Rick Dreyer of Tampa, Fla., who qualified for the NCAA championships.
