Jim Grant has been appointed director, regional sales, of CIGNA Re, a company of CIGNA Corporation. Jim has been with CIGNA since 1980 and was named assistant director of sales training in 1983.

A long letter from Bruce Alpert indicates that he is keeping himself quite busy in Memphis as the chief of the division of cardiology, department of pediatrics, at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences. Bruce is an associate professor and is currently engaged in research involving exercise physiology and early prediction and hopefully prevention of high blood pressure. His professional and personal interests are shared by his wife, Dr. Nancy Chase, also a pediatric cardiologist. Their house buzzes with his four children and her two. In September, they, along with other pediatric cardiologists, will go to China at the invitation of the Chinese Medical Association. Bruce also finds time to be the secretary-treasurer of the Memphis Dartmouth Club. To any '69s passing through the Memphis area, Bruce extends the hospitality of his home.

As it so happens, Jim Staros was in the Memphis area a few months ago to lecture at St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Jim is in the department of biophysics at Vanderbilt University and is the director of the graduate studies program. This information comes compliments of Bruce, who finishes his letter with a promise to make the 20th reunion.

Speaking of reunions, I hope that we will have a good turnout at the Yale game, November 2, in Hanover.
