This month, spring in Connecticut has truly sprung. The onion grass has started growing, and the crabgrass can't be far behind. Ah, the joys of suburbia. This Sunday morning, Joan and I took the day off from church, and these notes are being penned to the strains of "White Bird," which some of us may (or may not) remember fondly from our undergraduate daze, oops, days. Now, it's Marvin Gaye and "Grapevine ..."

Bruce Swift wrote. Boy, has he got it made. Last time we heard from Bruce, he was driving a cab in Boston and taking occasional months off to do a little skiing. Now, Bruce is working for Ski Markets in Boston, and those taskmasters are sending him off to Europe for a little Alpine skiing. He recently spent a day with DonMeals, who is still at UVM. Bruce also passed on news of another of our successful classmates. Gary Bahman, who is now a pit boss in the Golden Nugget casino in Las Vegas. Not bad for the product of a small New England college.

In the more traditional arenas of success, Robert Jeffe has been named managing/director at Morgan Stanley in the international investment banking division. Shel Prentice, our well-known leader, has joined Chittenden Corporation in Burlington as general counsel. Shel and Barbara will continue to live in Montpelier. LuisColon has been promoted to manager of financial analysis for Latin America in the international division of Abbott Laboratories. Luis and his wife, Ritabel, live with their two daughters in Lake Bluff, III.

And that's it for this month. Remember the reunion!
