Ace Eaton was recently seen slinging lobsters in Gloucester, Mass., where he and Joan had set up summer residence. Ace has been heavily involved in real estate development in the Granite State, having created The Village at Loon Mountain as well as projects in Stowe, Vt. Presently in the works is the Ipswich Country Club, a residential community in Ipswich, Mass., built around a new Robert Trent Jones-designed golf course ... the first nine holes should be available to duffers next June. Ace Jr. is a freshman at the University of New Hampshire while brother Ben still holds the fort at Holderness. Ace Sr. and I both agreed that the news on Pat Giles was somewhat stale. At last report, Pat, Nancy, and kids were still upholding the Yanks interests in London, England.

Continuing the saga of '62s who didn't make the 25th Yearbook: Bill Rice is chief labor counsel for Cooper Industries, Inc., in Houston, Tex. Cooper is a multidivision firm involved in the oil field equipment business as well as air tools, electronics, and electrical products. Bill moved to Houston in 1979 from Akron, Ohio, where he had operated his own law practice in the labor relations field. Bill's wife, Karen, is an editor for R & R publications. Daughter Beth is 20 and a senior at the University of Tennessee.

Max Rubin is a dermatologist in McLean, Va., and teaches at the National Institute of Health. Max was one of the first to use laser surgery on skin cancer . . . and reportedly has operated on some very important noses in the Capitol area. In his spare time, Max hits the road-racing circuit with his Turner. Divorced, Max has two sons: Daniel, 16, and at the Peddie School, and 13-year-old Michael, who attends Georgetown Day School.

Sorry for the short column, but you guys haven't exactly buried me with info. I hope, now that fall is here and Big Green football is on the upswing, you won't be so modest. We would be interested, by the way, not just in data on the class, but also your views on any topic. After I clean up the language, I'd by delighted to air your thoughts via the Class Notes.
