From the Mount Carmel Health Foundation in Columbus, Ohio, comes the news that Don Davies has been appointed to serve on its board of directors. The foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that coordinates and manages philanthropic activities for Mount Carmel Health, a major health-care provider for the central Ohio region. Mount Carmel Health encompasses a major 523-bed teaching hospital, a 292-bed community hospital, four primary care centers, and schools of nursing and graduate medical education. Don, a graduate of Ohio State University School of Law, lives in Worthington, Ohio, and is a partner in the law firm of Arter & Hadden. He actively serves on bar association committees in the field of health-care law at the local, state, and national levels.
After living for 20 years in Michigan, Alan Hurlbut moved to Pennsylvania when his employer, Ford Tractor, merged with New Holland Equipment Company, New Holland, Pa. Alan's new address is 1490 Mission Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. He says that he and Judy are looking forward to exploring New York, Philadelphia, Washington, and Chesapeake Bay, along with trips to Hanover for sporting events.
Bob Gwynne's elder son Owen Edward graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and took a summer job engineering for NASA before going on to grad school. Younger son Neil Robert graduated from high school and is moving to the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Bob, wife Jessie, and daughter Gail May, a high school cheerleader, have moved from their former large, four-bedroom suburban home to a small condo in Lake Monona (1029 Spaight Street, Unit 38, Madison, WI 53703). Bob jokingly says that his sons cannot come home again.
