"Bill Boyle, a pediatric oncologist at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), received the Robert Kerr Award from the American Lung Association of New Hampshire. The award is in recognition of the clinical work he has done in cystic fibrosis at DHMC. At DHMC Bill teaches a number of courses and is involved in a number of medically oriented community service activities, all of which evidence the award "for distinguished service and outstanding contributions to the people of the State of New Hampshire." Bill earned his M.D. at Tufts, and did his post-doctoral training at DHMC and as a pediatric resident and ambulatory fellow at Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Boston.

Deborah Robbins Healey '53, the daughter of Alan H. Robbins, proudly wrote that in December her father was appointed president and CEO of the New England Baptist Hospital, which is regarded as one of the top orthopedic hospitals in the country. As NEBH's president and CEO, Alan will play an important role in the Pathway Health Network, of which the hospital is a member.

He defines his challenge as twofold: (1) seeing that NEB hi flourishes and continues to provide the special kind of care that has been its tradition while (2) at the same time, as part of a team working closely within the Pathway Health Network and its other affiliated hospitals, building strengths for the future. Deborah writes that Alan, who is professor of radiology at Tufts University School of Medicine, has been chairman of the department of radiology at New England Baptist since 1981 and chief of the department of radiology at the Boston Veterans Hospital since 1969.

The oldest of three daughters, Deborah has given her parents a grandson, Evan (approximately age three), and a granddaughter, Rachel (approximately six months).
