Evelyn Fleet wrote on a green card: "My son Charlie was here for a few days which I enjoyed very much. He lives in New Orleans. He has been a vice president and corporate secretary of Louisiana Land and Exploration Cos. Charlie was Dartmouth '53, Tuck '54.

"The aging process has caught up with my eyes, a torn retina and cataracts are on the way. However, I am hoping to go to Greece in September and before that attend the wedding of my granddaughter Susan Fleet Beede in Concord, Mass."

On June 23, 1917, at Fenway Park, Red Sox pitcher Babe Ruth was incensed when umpire Brick Owen called ball four on the game's leadoff batter. Ruth called Owen a blind bat. Owen called Ruth a big ape. Ruth punched Owen in the jaw. Ernie Shore replaced the Babe. The runner was caught stealing. Shore retired the next 26 Senators in order. Ruth was suspended one week and fined $100.

After moving in November Larry andAlice Nardi missed their former activities and friends in Annapolis. Now they seem to have adjusted to living in Stuart, Fla., and are happy to be near their daughter Anne and her husband Bucky Rogers.
