Greetings. I'll start off with some news from my backyard. Bob Conway, who is currently an attorney and a major in the Marine Corps, recently made a presentation on the military justice system at the Harvard Law School. Along with several other Marine Corps attorneys he conducted a mock court martial trial and briefed the audience on the "sex, spies, and secrets" trials of the embassy marines. Bob, this sounds like it has the makings of a TV docu-drama.

Former Dartmouth football star GregBrown recently joined Zimmer Motor Cars Corp. of Pompano, Fla., as vice president of sales and marketing. Greg will head all of the sales and marketing efforts for the motor car division of Zimmer Corp., a member of the American Stock Exchange.

Kevin O'Shea is active as a trial lawyer in Elmira, N.Y., and recently successfully defended a major wrongful death case in that jurisdiction. In his free time Kevin is active with local GOP politics, the Hibernia Club, and has been known to get on the links now and again.

Russ Kelley has completed training for his second medical specialty (radiology) and has joined a private practice on the south shore of Boston. Russ previously practiced internal medicine in upstate New York. He and Pat and their four handsome children—Jessica, Eric, Greg, and Meglive in Sudbury, Mass.

Todd Keiller has sent word of Tom Helfrich and family. Tom and Jane recently celebrated the birth of their son, Christian Thomas, in Augsburg, West Germany. Todd writes that "Chris is said to be a xerox of his dad." That must mean he was born with a Dartmouth T-shirt and Baltimore Oriole baseball cap. Sister Caitlin is pitching in, and sings German as well as American lullaby. She's now fluent and helps dad around town with his German."

Our congratulations are also extended to Richard Smith, who was married last June 13 to Rosaline Warren. She is also a writerlawyer.

Finally, Dick Berlin noted on the back of his class dues payment that he and GarFields have been in touch. In fact, Gar and his wife, Nancy, and son recently joined Dick, Claire, and their three girls for Halloween weekend.
