Bob Misch was presented with the 1988 Special A ward of the Italian Wine and Food Institute in December. The presentation was made at the Institute's Grand Gala Dinner Dance in New York and received the applause of the thousand diners present. The award was in recognition of Bob's knowledge and love of wine. Bob and Janet celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Paris last June with their two daughters and their husbands and four grandchildren.
Betty Crawford (widow of Henry Crawford) met Scoof Newton at the H-D basketball game in January. She was with her son Jim, son-in-law Scott, and grandson Asa. Dodie Tower (widow of WalterTower) is happy in her recent move to Stone Institute at 277 Elliott Street, Newton Upper Falls in Massachusetts.
We have recently learned of the deaths of Don Kilby's widow, Jane, in June 1988, Bob Meginity's widow, Gladys, in 1982, and Cy Penney's widow, Ruth, February 10, 1989.
