Straight from the source it came, thanks to the generosity of our newsletter guy in directing that half the green cards come to me. Bill Kendall now lives at D-206, 1000 Vicar's Landing Way, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. His life-care community is "located within the security area of Sawgrass Players Club on the west side of Highway A1A. A golfers' dream." Thanks for writing. Bill.

It's no secret that if you want to see other '32s you 1) attend a mini or 2) go to Florida. This from Newell Kurson: "Spending the winter in Boca Raton. Recently attended three different dinner parties, where I unexpectedly ran into Herb Friedman, ArtieSchlicter, and Carol Gerstley (widow or Bill)." Carol, of course, is now Carol Katz. By this former head agent she is admired for her loyal annual support of the Alumni Fund in Bill's memory.

Face it. Once started on Florida in wintry March (as I am), it's hard to stop. You know the Hillsboro Club in Pompano Beach? Located on 15 acres with some 1,000 feet of ocean beach, it offers sailing, tennis, miniature golf, volley ball, and of course guest rooms and superb dining. Morry Hubbard sends this information, along with a kudo: "My hat's off to John Zimmerman, who is undertaking to reorganize the Hillsboro Club, where Libby and I have spent considerable time with John and Alice. He 'likes the challenge' and to have the energy at our stage of life is great." Amen, say all us septuagenarians. Funny—l thought all JOZ's spare time was devoted to the United Way in southern Connecticut. Or was it the Mystic Seaport Museum? Dartmouth sailing under Art Allen? All of the above, I guess. The guy's a powerhouse.

Before leaving Florida, swing over to Venice. Look in on Bob and Helene Reinhardt in their new wintertime home; 844 Harrington Lake Lane, amid new condos, is a free-standing house at the end of a peninsula overlooking a small lake. Plantation Country Club facilities —shops, tennis, Olympic-type pool —are available to the Reinhardts. I visualize them, however, on one of the two 18-hole golf courses, daily if not oftener.
