Last month I thanked the outgoing officers but didn't tell you the names of the incoming officers. The people to call with your questions, comments, or Dartmouth related needs are: Leigh Miller Garry, president; Julie Levenson, treasurer; EricGrubman and Denise Caccavaro Ornell, newsletter editors; Kyle Gore, Alumni Council; Peter Montgomery, mini-reunion chair; and yours truly as class secretary. The alumni office has everyone's address, as do I, ifyou need to get in touch with any of us.

Well, on to the column . . . last month I promised to catch you up on Dani Klein. As it turns out Dani is currently touring with the Twilight of the Golds. It took me a few phone calls to catch up with Danifirst L.A. (her home), then Washington, D.C., where the company performed in July, and finally San Francisco, where they performed in August. As you're reading this the show is likely to be at the Booth Theatre on Broadway. Dani is Jennifer Gray's understudy. She got to go on for Jennifer in D.C.—at 7:10 p.m. one night she found out she was performing at 7:30. Her first response was "I can't do this." Then the realization came to her that this was her job—"OK, I'm doing this." Her third thought: "I don't have a bra." And you think people with glamour jobs don't have everyday concerns!

More on current Californians: Alix Madigan is director of acquisitions at Skouras Pictares in Beverly Hills. Alix screens movies made outside the studio system which Skouras then distributes for Paramount. Although her personal life sounded interesting and exciting, I've been admonished by Alix not to include any of it here in the Dartmouth chronicles. She even banned me from telling tales on friends, so those of you mentioned below should know I know more about you than I wrote.

Chris Bird is in Los Angeles writing for television. Alix believes he had a pilot which he wrote optioned. Julie Aires and husband are also in L.A. and are both writing for film when they're not taking care of their new baby, Sabrina. Betsy Burnham (who is married to Mark Stern 'B5) is raising money for an independent production (also out in L.A.).

Up the coast, Lisen Stromberg and BillyRossi have recently bought a home in Menlo Park. Billy is working at Quantum Chemical (according to my records, even though Lisen's friends told me he was at a software company). Lisen is working for Nestle.

Back on the East Coast, Lisa Brody is practicing law in Philadelphia. She and her husband just became parents to a baby girl. Peter Charbonnier returned to law school at University of Connecticut in 1988 and recently joined Waller, Smith, and Palmer in New London, Conn. Peter told me that Dan Becker is out in Seattle now working for "some government entity." (Dan, Dartmouth has an old number for you, so I couldn't confirm what government entity.)

I received an article about Michael Winston. It said he was a "recent" Dartmouth graduate. That's always nice to hear when you get old. Michael recently married J acqueline Fern, a Brown graduate who is a fellow dermatologist. Mike told me that Bruce Bagdasarian a nd Gene Haldeman are practicing law in Boston and New York, respectively. NateArchibald is also in New York doing "some in advertising." Nate is married and has a little girl now. He also ratted out TimBicknell (Brad had put out an APB on Tim in a previous column). Tim is doing his family practice residency in Seattle. I can verify that since I have seen Tim with my own eyes out and about in the bars of Seattle. Tim went to University of Vermont medical school.

The class of '84 is having its first annual Chili Bowl on October 30, the Saturday of Homecoming weekend. Starting 10 a.m. you'll be able to get chili for "a buck a bowl" at the '84 tailgate. Contact Peter Montgomery at (802) 763-2071 if you want a space reserved for you in the Leverone parking lot.

Until next month, keep those letters coming.
